Marrakesh by Design

Reminiscent of days gone by, but with an updated in look and feel. This beautifully bordered acanthus leaf-inspired design is a cotton blend in a tonal coloration that is woven in a reversible weave, so both sides can be used as desired.

Adapted from botanical drawings of gardens in Mumbai, India, where an abundance of rare plant species grow, precisely detailed floral and vegetal illustrations adorn this fine porcelain teapot from Bernardaud. It's edged with a rattan trompe l'oeil pattern reminiscent of popular Indian furniture designs.
