Designed by Stefano Giovannoni, with the collaboration of Rumiko Takeda. The Captain Banana corkscrew has a multicolored rotating parrot on his head, in reality the handle of the corkscrew, while the chunky body enables you to firmly grip it when using. The components parts of Captain Banana are molded in separate pieces (body, parrot, arms) and subsequently decorated and assembled like wooden figurines, allowing more emphasis to be given to the decorations. Captain Banana is painted and hand-decorated using a brush, a spray gun and transfers. The vermillion screw is covered with Tefl on for easy penetration of the cork. This is a continuous rotation corkscrew: having pierced the cork.
